Waste Heat Boiler

A west coast refinery recently awarded Indeck Keystone Energy a 25,000 PPH Waste Heat Boiler (WHB) to provide the plant with process steam using heat from a Sulfuric Acid Decomposition Furnace which can be fueled by any combination of acid sludge, sulfur, hydrocarbon condensates, natural gas, and/or fuel oil. The unit was designed with a high degree of accessibility in order to allow for easy cleaning and maintenance during outages. Indeck has previously provided this refinery with a number of other boilers. The boiler was delivered and assembled at the site.  The start up was a success.
