A petrochemical plant purchased a 160,000 PPH packaged "O" type boiler with auxiliary equipment for an Olefins plant. Indeck previously provided this customer with a number of boilers at this plant. This boiler fires plant gas providing 630 psig superheated steam to the plant. The boiler and auxiliary equipment were delivered and were successfully started up.
Reliable boiler operations are necessary to assure steam production in petrochemical facilities. Boilers are critical components of U.S. commercial and industrial facilities and operations. Boilers installed at petrochemical facilities are subjected to constantly changing conditions and are at high risk for boiler corrosion, tube scale, fouling, and/or failure of critical equipment such as economizers and turbines. We understand the extreme conditions under which petrochemical boiler systems operate, and how that can impact plant operations, No matter what the boiler is used for, Indeck Keystone Energy supplies petrochemical facilities with the right steam generating equipment at the right price, including package boilers, heat recovery boilers, Fluidized Catalytic Cracking Units (FCCU), and many others.
