A Canadian distillery purchased a 250,000 PPH packaged “O” type boiler with auxiliary equipment for a plant upgrade. The new boiler fires natural gas and Ester fuel to provide 400 psig, 600˚F steam with no worse than 1 ppm TDS steam purity. The boiler was designed to be shop assembled and transported by barge to the site, with the balance of the equipment delivered by truck. The boiler and auxiliary equipment have been delivered and successfully started up.
